Worse than the Yankees?
The Pittsburgh Pirates have just earned the honor to be the first to 100 loses this season. They are still trying to keep in the playoff race only meager 31.5 games back in their division. They have had 276 more runs scored against them than they have scored. They have given up more runs than any team in the league, only two others gave up 800 (pirates are at 835). Their team batting average is at an astounding .241 which ranks them among the worst in the league. Their pitching has a solid 5.07 era which ranks them at 29th in the league. In the mist of all of their terribleness they still have a glimmer of hope... not really. Well at least they are one of the most beloved teams in baseball, just because everyone's real favorite team can destroy the pirates.
